This past Memorial Day Weekend we decided to keep away from the crowded pools and beach and make our way up to the mountains to dodge the wave of kooky tourists pouring in. With my birthday in the middle of it all it seemed like a fitting way to celebrate with the boys and clock in some time outdoors. Come Monday morning, some 500 beers later, one dirty pup, and bit of puke, and dirt up to our knees, we knew the holiday weekend was well spent.

Fuck it, one more for good measure.
We headed up to Big Bear today to catch up with Richie Conklin, talk about what he’s been up to this season and checkout this year’s Sunset Liquor and Lotto house.
Richie is one of our favorite snowboarders here at WeatherMTN and has been for a few years now. With Richie it’s always style over spinning and we can’t say anything agains’t that.
While calling Big Bear home in the winter, in the off season he puts the snowboard aside and links up with Evergreen Skateparks to spend life on the road and build next level parks throughout the Northern part of America. This summers tasks include the completion of 4 new concrete parks up in the beautiful state of Montana. Not a bag gig is you ask me.
Checkout Richie finish out this last week’s Sunday in the Park properly and make sure to keep an eye out for him in the rest of the season’s edits.
Just found these photos in a film roll that wasn’t developed. Sights from the 395. Enjoy.
As you’ve probably noticed, there’s a recurring theme starting to happen here on the site. There’s no snow and we’re whining about it. Standard. The conditions are sub-par everywhere in our region so, why not take some trips in hopes of finding cold weather and pow? It’s not like we’d be missing anything. Snow or no snow, it’s actually been a pretty fun winter. The photos below are from the most recent trip to Mammoth Lakes, CA and the surrounding areas.

Found one.
Been spending a lot of time at Buffalo House Printing Company. Pumped out another round of the Deli x WeatherMTN collab shirts.
Also got a chance to design and print these for Chris Gregson’s new film, “Lawless”. Make sure you check it out when you get a chance. Little C is the truth!

Always good running into Blake and Zac.

Back to the shop! We’ve been staying more than busy this past month. Keep an eye out for these hand screened and built POPs wherever WeatherMTN is sold.
This dude was bummed.
Slurk stopped by to grab some gear and hangout for a bit.
…and to show us his recent purchase.

There hasn’t been much snow in our neck of the woods but we’ve been having a good time with what we’ve got.
This past weekend was a time for celebration, dirt bike riding, and drunkenness. It was my friend/newly acquired Brother-In-Law, Jahn Kanayan’s Bachelor Party. I was stoked when I found out what we’d be doing and it wasn’t just another stale trip to Vegas. Instead, we went off the grid and set up camp 30 miles into the Southern Eastern Sierras. If you look at it on a map, you’ll see how remote the actual location is.
The next couple of days were filled with riding, drinking, and BBQing meat. Each day we would take a ride ranging from 30-70 miles into the high country and stop at every place we saw fit to explore. At night, it seemed it was a mission to consume as much as possible which led to some funny situations that will stay between the group. Below are some of the photos from the trip.
Figured this would be a good time to crack some beers and enjoy the scenery

Until next time.
It’s been a while since we put one these up so, here it is. Mowgly Lee is a friend of ours and just so happens to be a talented young videographer/photographer. He has done work for multiple brands in “the industry” and nailed it on our SP13 lookbook and video. Plan on seeing good things from him in the future. Below are a few of his selected favorites.
Designing the Holiday 13 line in our sauna garage while we pass the time watching our friends snowboard is starting to get to us. We do this every year around this same time. It’s amazing weather outside and all we are hoping for is the cold to come back as quickly as possible.
To make things worse we finally got a bunch of photos developed from a few days cruising around Green Valley Lake this past winter. It had just snowed a few feet so we pack our bags and went home for a bit. These were easily some of the most enjoyable days of the year.
